Production Processes flowcharts

Production Processes Flowcharts, shown below, is a task where we explored the production process of two products. I chose to create a flowchart on YouTube and of a video game. The purpose of this task is to gather an understanding of production of multiple interactive media products.

YT Flowchart

This flowchart is for the process of making YouTube.

Video game flow chart

This flowchart is the process of making a video game.

I learned all the different steps of making a website and video game and how all the different sections are link together. I can use flowcharts like these to plan out the pre-production, production and post-production stages of my FMP. I can also use flowcharts to plan out the layout of my FMP as well, the path that people will follow to get to different pages.

  1. Joel, there is no introduction explaining this task! What was the purpose of it? Your presentation is also an issue, with the two images overlapping. You have not included any evidence of research or Harvard references. How do you know that this order is correct? For example, audio would certainly not be produced so early for a game. This, combined with the lack of references, suggests that this is largely guess work. If this is not the case, then there should be references. Where is your reflection outlining what you have learned from this task and how you might apply it to your FMP?
